ARK's Y-Chew is an innovative Y-shaped oral motor chew tool with three different extensions, each with its own texture (smooth, ribbed, and bumpy) for a varied sensory experience. ARK'S Y-Chew is available in 3 toughness levels:

• Soft / Standard (Light Blue): These are the softest chews with the most “squishiness” and “give”. They are recommended for mild chewers and beginners practising biting/chewing skills.

• Medium Firm/ Xtra Tough (XT) (Turquoise): These are firmer but still chewy and recommended for moderate chewing.

• Very Firm/ Xtra Xtra Tough (XXT) (Orange): These are recommended for more avid chewing. They are the firmest and provide the most resistance to the jaw. No chew tool is indestructible, but these are very tough.

How to Use ARK's Y Shaped Oral Chew

This sensory oral motor tool can be used in various settings, whether at home, school or on the go. You can use ARK's Y-Chew:

• To exercise the lips, tongue, cheeks, and especially the jaw, allowing the mouth to learn and grow strong through oral exploration

Although these chew tools are sturdy and durable, they are not indestructible. You should regularly inspect and check the chew for signs of wear and tear. They typically last depending on the amount and intensity of the chewing, as well as other oral sensory needs like jaw strength, stress/anxiety levels and if other sensory strategies are in place.
