Why We Love ARK's SolaBite Oral Motor Tool

ARK's SolaBite is a hollow chew tool with a lot of character! Oral Sensory seekers will love it for all of the variation and texture, as it provides a way to fulfil their chewing needs while encouraging sensory exploration. Children can use this oral sensory fidget as a safe alternative for the need to chew on pencils, crayons, shirts, fingers, etc., and to help them calm, focus, and self-regulate.  

It has five different pointed arms to chew on, each with a different texture: smooth, striated, treaded, ribbed, and bumpy. The texture on each arm also increases in intensity as you move clockwise around the chew, with the smooth arm providing the least amount of sensory input and the bumpy arm providing the most. 

ARK’s SolaBite is available in 3 toughness levels:

• Standard (Red) - The softest level, recommended for mild chewers.

• Xtra Tough (XT) / Medium Firm (Lime Green) - This is the middle level, which is firmer, but still fairly chewy. Recommended for moderate chewers.

• Xtra Xtra Tough (XXT) / Very Firm (Royal Blue) - The toughest level made for avid chewers.
  

Please note: because the arms of this chew are fairly thin, even the XXT level may not be a long-lasting option for moderate to avid chewing. For more robust chews, check out the Buddy Bite.
